Thall is never used in reference to movement, either toward or away from:

• Tá sí thall (she's over [there] [and making no move to come over here]).
• Tá sí ag dul anonn (she's going over [there]).
• Tá sí ag dul sall (she's going over [there]). (Equivalent to anonn)
• Tá sí ag teacht anall (she's coming over [here]).
